On July 11, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time, the Department of History, in collaboration with the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI), held a socialization event entitled “Program Pascasarjana Ilmu Sejarah Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Gadjah Mada bagi Pegawai Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia.” The event was attended by the Head of ANRI, Dr. Mego Pinandito; the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM, Dr. Nur Saktiningrum; and the Head of the Master of History Study Program, Dr. Farabi Fakih, as speakers.

The event opened with presentations by Dr. Mego Pinandito. Then, Dr. Nur Saktiningrum delivered the Opening Ceremony, where she informed the audience about the various limitations faced during postgraduate studies.

Dr. Farabi, then, provided information about the programs in the Department of History, including the vision and mission of the study program, courses—which are undergoing curriculum changes—the lecture program (conferences, workshops, summer schools, public lectures, seminars, and community service), and an introduction to the academic staff of the study program.

The event continued with testimonials from alumni and students. The first presentation was given by Hasna Fuadilla H., who shared her challenges in studying while working at ANRI. She was followed by Khabibah, who described her learning process during her studies.

This event is noteworthy as one of the Department’s efforts to promote educational accessibility, which contributes to improving the quality of national education.
