The Department of History at UGM will once again hold a seminar. On this occasion, Yi Ning Chang, a PhD candidate from Harvard University, will present her dissertation on the ideas and imaginations of political elites in Southeast Asia regarding decolonization and the concept of the postcolonial state during the 1950s and 1960s. The event will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in Room 709, Soegondo Building, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM.
